Currently shipping is a flat $3.00. Even if you order a thousand of something. Only $3.00. How do we do that? I don’t know. Try it.
Unless explicitly noted, everything for sale on this site was printed using worn-out old letterpress type and engravings. Most of the type has nicks, scratches, dings, low-spots, and occasionally missing kerns, serifs, and descenders. Quality control is important for us, but due to the nature of this process, slight variations can occur. Letterpress printing is capable of precision reproduction, but often, the rustic and distressed appearance is intended. If you feel, that unintentional damage may have occurred, or your items are not representative of the descriptions on this site, please let us know.
Tin Can Valley Printing Co. is a very small operation. While in public, we may have the appearance of a giant institution with the backing of major investment firms and an international labor force, behind the façade, we are one. No accounting department, no R & D, no mid-level management, not even unpaid interns. So throughout this website when you see references to “we” and “us” and “our”, we are really only “I” and “me”. We are one person.
What I’m getting at, is when you place an order through this website, or send a message in the contact form, I will probably be overcome with delight, and drop whatever I’m doing, and take care of whatever you need. However, be prepared for the occasion that I might be running the press, or out-of-town at an art or music festival, or just taking a day off with my family.
If you aren’t completely wrapt with joy by your experience with a Tin Can Valley product, please let me know. I may not have any influence in how you or the recipient of my art are affected by it, but I do feel a certain amount of responsibility in making sure the business transaction is mutually beneficial.
